We live in a society that is constantly directing us on who we should be and how we should be living our lives. With our eyes often glancing over different forms of media, it’s often difficult to hold any confidence in the person that you already are. Whether you’re feeling lost in the person that you are or you’re looking to discover yourself, this list of seven tips will help to assist you on your journey to self-discovery.



  1. Bring yourself closer to God


As you study the Bible, look for evidence that you are a child of God. Know that you are a child of God and his unconditional love will help you to gain true confidence in the abilities that he has blessed you with.

Allow yourself to bloom while you participate in an activity that you are passionate about. Whether it be dancing, painting, or spending your free time volunteering, discovering something that you are truly passionate about will give you the ultimate sense of fulfillment!

Allow yourself to be free from the judgement of others, but also work on your efforts of comparing yourself to others. Nourish your mind with positive thoughts and a positive attitude; you will quickly see how much happier you’ve become.
