7 Boss Babe Tips from a Femtreprenuer

Come check out Sarah Glitters!

Yes, my queens! It’s that time of the week again. It’s time to get some more tips from a successful femtreprenuer on how to get out own business up and going. Even if you’re not looking to start out your own business, these ladies have the perfect tips for chasing your dreams!

Q-What’s been your biggest failure?

A- I would say my biggest failure so far in my business has been accidentally ordering hundreds of dollars worth of the wrong glitter. When you have a small business every penny matters and losing that money was devastating, but I’ve got other plans for that glitter 🙂

Q- What’s been your biggest success?

A- I would say my biggest success so far has been the international orders I’ve been receiving. It’s amazing to know people all around the world want my products.

Q-What were you scared of when you first started out?

A- I was terrified when I first started out! I kept hearing that voice in the back of my head saying “what if they hate your products?” “What if no one buys?” But I had to just keep telling myself that if I loved it and I would buy it then others would too.

Q-How old were you guys when you first thought about starting your small business?

A- So I started my business just a couple months ago and I am 19 years old, but it’s been a dream of mine to own my own business since I was a little girl.

Q- How did you get your business to where it is today?

A- I got my business where it is today by just taking the time to really get to know a lot of my followers. When you’re personable with people and take the time to actually get to know them they will be more willing to purchase from you and follow your business as it grows. I always say, I’m not getting to know a customer, I’m making a new friend.

Q-What’s one piece of advice you would give to women looking to chase after their dreams?

A- The one piece of advice I would give to women chasing their dreams is just do it. You will be surprised at how supportive the different communities are (especially the makeup community which I’ve come to love so much) people will be there to help you and you CAN do it. So don’t let your fears hold you down.

Q-  How do you feel like you are impacting the world?

A- Honestly I don’t feel like I’ve impacted the world quite yet, I’m still a small business but I have big plans and I want to impact the world in the most positive way possible. I hope to impact in a big way by showing people makeup that is animal cruelty free and vegan can be beautiful as well and that there is no excuse for big makeup companies to test on animals.
